What is a double-stuffed balloon?
A double-stuffed balloon is a balloon within a balloon. Balloons are usually double-stuffed to achieve a custom color or to provide a thick, professional look.
-
How do I inflate double-stuffed balloons?
Insert the nozzle of your air pump into the neck of the innermost balloon. Holding balloons in place, operate the air pump until the balloon is inflated to your liking. Next, tie the neck of only the innermost balloon.
NOTE: Please do not attempt to pull the balloons apart at any time - this may damage the balloons.

The "lip" of my balloons are frayed or have small holes in them - help!
Frays or holes in the “lip” or “nub” of a balloon is completely normal - they do not affect the inflation or performance of the balloon. Rest easy!

How can I hang my balloon garland?
Tie string or curling ribbon to the balloon garland at your desired anchor points (usually at each end plus one or two points near the center of the garland). Attach temporary Command hooks to the wall or surface you’ll be hanging the garland on and tie the loose end of each string to the desired hook on the wall. You can also use nails or thumbtacks, however I prefer Command hooks since they leave no marks behind.
-
I want/don't want my balloons to have the "matte" look - what should I do?
Balloons turn matte when exposed to oxygen - this is called oxidation. It is a completely natural process that does not affect balloon performance.
If you hang your balloons outdoors, they will oxidize very quickly, giving you the matte look within minutes. If you want to maintain a shiny look, I recommend using High Shine, which can be purchased at any party supply store. Because of its oily texture, High Shine is best for outdoor events.
To maintain a nice luster for your indoor event, store the completed garland away from sunlight until your event.
-
How far in advance can I make my balloon garland?
You can build your balloon garland 1-3 days in advance. Make sure to store the inflated balloons in a dark place away from sunlight so the balloons stay looking fresh.
-
Do I need any special equipment to construct one of your balloon garland kits?
No special equipment is required, however I STRONGLY recommend using an electric or hand-held balloon air pump when blowing up your balloons. Many of our products use double-stuffed balloons, which are more difficult to inflate. Please note small balloons that are double-stuffed do require a hand-held pump.
